The QCinema Project Market (QPM) is an official industry initiative of QCIFF, designed to connect filmmakers with key international industry players.
Through networking opportunities, one-on-one meetings, and project presentations, QPM serves as a launchpad for Southeast Asian filmmakers to secure funding, co-productions, and distribution deals. The market brings together top-tier producers, financiers, distributors, and sales agents, fostering valuable collaborations and ensuring the growth and visibility of new film projects.

ASIAN NEXT WAVE FILM FORUM
The Asian Next Wave Film Forum is an annual event that serves as a platform for exploring and celebrating the evolution of Asian cinema. By bridging the stylistic depth of art-house cinema with the broad appeal of genre storytelling, Asian filmmakers are creating works that transcend traditional boundaries and resonate with both regional and international viewers.
For its first edition that happened last November 16, 2024 during QCinema International Film Festival, the theme "Riding the Wave: Shifting Tides of Arthouse and Genre" encapsulated this transformative moment in Asian cinema.
The forum had six panel sessions and four masterclasses that focused on how filmmakers are merging the narrative richness and visual artistry of art-house cinema with the accessibility and engaging structures of genre films:

CREATIVE INDUSTRIES DAY
Creative Industries Day is a pivotal event highlighting Quezon City's bid to become a UNESCO Creative City of Film. This initiative focuses on advancing the local film industry through innovative policies, international collaborations, and stakeholder support featuring workshops, networking mixers, and roundtables.
The recent Creative Industries Day last QCinema International Film Festival was held on November 17, 2024, at Sine Pop, Cubao, Quezon City consisted of roundtable discussions, panel sessions, and a Creative Industries Night with foreign embassy partners, QC LGUs, and film organizations such as Film Academy of the Philippines, Inter-Guild Alliance, Busan Film Commission, Busan Cinema Center, French Embassy, and CNC France to name a few.
